The Club

The DFI Bad Aibling e.V. is a purely developmental training club for young, talented, passionate footballers and accordingly has only youth teams in the official leagues. There is a conscious effort put into training the players as diversely as possible. It is our primary priority that the players learn to make their own decisions on the pitch, regardless of whether its defensive or offensive. During their time at DFI Bad Aibling e.V., the footballers should get to know the requirements of the game in an age-appropriate manner so that they can independently find optimal solutions on the pitch in the latter phase of their sporting career. Providing the players with individual support is more important to us than short-term team success.

Successes

The greatest success of the DFI Bad Aibling e.V., in its still young history (founded in 2012), was winning the Bavarian championship in the 2017/18 season in the U15 category along with a promotion to the Regionalliga Bayern, the highest division in this age category. The U13 of the DFI Bad Aibling rose from the Kreisliga in the 2014/15 season after winning the league championship and thus into the highest possible division in this category, the Bezirksoberliga. Another highlight was the first official fixture in the Pokal (Cup) against an equally-aged FC Bayern Munich that we won 1-0 in the 2016/17 season.

Overall, the teams of DFI Bad Aibling e.V. have already won over 30 championships and many respectable fixtures in friendly matches against Bundesliga NLZs from all over Germany.
