From Thursday to Sunday, our U13 and U12 teams were at a training camp in beautiful Partschins (South Tyrol). With 45 children and four coaches, the group was well-staffed – and the program had a lot to offer.
We stayed with Thomas at the Pension Lahn – top-notch accommodations with top-notch food! We were particularly pleased with the €100 donation to our team fund – thank you very much for this generous support!
The weekend was also a culinary highlight: Stephan Durster, father of former DFI boarding school student Kilian Oberperfler, treated us to regional cuisine at the Dursterhof – a big thank you for the excellent food!
Our U13 team was able to hold its own competition in the stadium – on the best turf and against a stunning mountain backdrop. Our opponents were FC Südtirol, FC Wacker Innsbruck, and ASV Partschins U15.
Our U12 team also competed in a great friendly against their FC Südtirol counterparts – with different game formats and plenty of room for creativity and playfulness.
Conclusion: The training camp was a complete success – both in terms of athletics and camaraderie. We would like to thank all our supporters, hosts, and parents – and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
